This black and white photograph, by Arsen Savadov, makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a stage set. The lighting reminds me of an old movie, dramatic and stark. The figure, caught in motion, is holding what looks like a trumpet, but everything’s a bit jumbled and surreal. There's a playful ambiguity, like a dream you can't quite grasp. I love how the textures pop - the rough stone contrasting with the smooth skin, the clouds feel like they're painted on a canvas. The whole image is just so alive. It reminds me of Hannah Höch’s collages, piecing together fragments to create something new. In the end, art isn't about answers. It's about asking questions and embracing the beautiful messiness of it all.
