This silver coin, depicting Albert and Isabella, was minted in 1600. The front of the coin features the Archduke Albert and his wife, Isabella, facing each other. The inscription surrounding them is "ALBERTUS ET ISABELLA D.G. ARCHIDVX AVS P[IUS]" (Albert and Isabella by the grace of God, Archduke of Austria). The reverse of the coin shows a wreath of leaves surrounding the inscription "GVNDIAE ABIG[UE] NV[N]TIA" (the Counts of Flanders). This coin is a striking example of early 17th-century silver coinage and provides insight into the political and religious climate of the Netherlands during this time. It is currently housed in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
