Nude Series 2 

"Nude Series 2" is a watercolor painting by American artist Georgia O'Keeffe. O'Keeffe is well known for her simplified, abstract style and her focus on female forms, especially flowers and the human figure. This work, like many of O'Keeffe's pieces, uses strong color contrasts, in this case red against blue, to highlight the shape of the body. The subject is rendered in a way that is both realistic and abstract. The painting likely dates from the early 20th century.
