Editor: Here we have Richard Wilson’s "Landscape with Castle," currently housed at the Tate. It's dreamlike, almost… a scene from a fable. What strikes you most about it? Curator: Isn’t it lovely? For me, it’s the light, like a memory half-recalled. Notice how Wilson softens the edges, blurring the line between reality and reverie. It's as if the landscape itself is exhaling a gentle sigh. Editor: That's a beautiful way to put it. I hadn't considered the role of memory. Curator: What do you think the castle represents in this context? Perhaps it's a symbol of history, fading into the mists of time? Editor: I hadn't thought of it that way! It's definitely something to ponder. Thanks! Curator: My pleasure. It's always rewarding to see a familiar landscape through fresh eyes.
