This Electiepenning, or election medal, was created by Andele Andeles. It is small, about 3 cm in diameter, and its circular form is divided into two distinct sides, each telling a part of the story. One side features a detailed cityscape dominated by vertical spires and towers, all set against a textured background. This elevation of the city is topped by a coat of arms, creating a visual hierarchy that reinforces the coin's symbolic representation of power and governance. In contrast, the other side presents an architectural rendering of a building with symmetrical windows and structured facade. The formal quality of the building is further emphasized by its position at the center, framed by Latin text. The careful distribution of elements, from the detailed cityscape to the structured building, highlights the importance of order and balance in civic life. The metallic texture adds a tactile dimension, inviting interaction and contemplation on the tangible qualities of power and representation.
