Editor: So here we have Menashe Kadishman's "Broken Glass" from the Tate collection, an intriguing piece, especially with that vibrant red doorway. It looks almost like the glass is flowing, a frozen waterfall of shattered dreams perhaps. What do you make of it? Curator: Ah, yes, "Broken Glass." It’s that collision of the domestic – the doorway, a portal – with something violent, fractured. The red is arresting, almost a warning. I feel a sense of loss, of something precious destroyed. Perhaps Kadishman is hinting at the fragility of memory, or even identity. What do you think? Editor: That's a great perspective! So much more than just broken glass. Curator: Exactly! It's about the space in between, the potential for healing, for a new perspective to emerge from the shards. Food for thought, wouldn't you say? Editor: Definitely, a powerful piece that I'll be thinking about long after this visit. Thanks!
