"Her vuur, het water, lucht en aarde, / Bestuurd door den Alzegenaar (...)" (1791 - 1812) by Dirk van Lubeek (1747-1811) is a woodcut print that illustrates the four elements (fire, water, air, and earth) through a series of scenes representing the seasons, times of day, and daily life. The print includes verses in Dutch that describe the scenes, making it an early example of visual and textual storytelling. The print's focus on the natural world and its relationship to humanity is typical of Dutch genre painting. This artwork, now in the Rijksmuseum, provides insight into Dutch culture and artistic trends of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
