Editor: This is an intriguing photograph, simply titled *Untitled (school girls in uniform, posed on jungle gym)*, by Harris & Ewing. I find its eerie inversion of light and shadow haunting. What story do you think it tells? Curator: It's a fascinating image! The jungle gym is such a liminal space – not quite childhood, not quite adulthood. Maybe it’s about the transition those girls are in, a sort of suspended animation before taking flight? What do you think? Editor: That’s a lovely image, flight before taking wing. Curator: I think it captures a peculiar moment, that feeling of being caught between two worlds, doesn't it? So beautifully eerie.
