Goblet 1835 - 1845

Dominik Bimann's "Goblet" is a clear glass cup with an elaborate, engraved design on the body. The delicate, etched scene depicts a hunting scene likely from the 19th century. The cup's stem is elegantly rounded, with a faceted, multi-layered base. The "Goblet" is an excellent example of 19th-century glassblowing and decorative engraving techniques, currently on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
