Ewer (one of a pair) 1800 - 1815

This pair of silver ewers, created by renowned French silversmith Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot between 1800 and 1815, exemplifies the Neoclassical style popular during the period. The ewers, each standing at 32 1/2 inches tall, are adorned with intricate ornamentation, including winged figures perched atop a dolphin-shaped spout and a base with a variety of mythological scenes.
