This gold coin, a 10-gulden piece, was commissioned by King Willem II of the Netherlands in 1842. The coin features the Dutch coat of arms, a lion holding a sword and arrows, crowned with the royal crown. Surrounding the coat of arms, the inscription reads "DE KONING DER NEDERLANDEN 1842 MUNT VAN HET" (King of the Netherlands 1842 Coin of the). This coin is an example of Dutch numismatics and reflects the artistic style of the time. It's now part of the Rijksmuseum collection in the Netherlands.
