"Charles I and Henrietta" is a 19th-century engraving by American artist William B. Closson (1796–1875) that depicts the English King Charles I and his wife, Henrietta Maria. The engraving is a copy of a much earlier painting, likely created in the 17th century. The Minneapolis Institute of Art’s copy of this engraving, which is part of the museum’s collection, is quite small at only 5 3/8 x 6 5/16 in. (13.65 x 16.03 cm), but is nonetheless a beautiful example of Closson's meticulous work.
