"Red-Eyed Vireo" is a photogravure by American artist Leverett W. Brownell (1871-1951). The artwork depicts a vireo bird perched on a branch near its nest, a common subject for Brownell. Photogravure, a photomechanical printing process, was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for its ability to reproduce fine detail and tonal gradations. This particular work is currently held by the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
