Plate c. 1775

This set of 18th-century creamware tableware, made in England around 1775 by an unknown artist, is an example of the popular style of the time. The simple, elegant form and delicate white glaze of the plates, bowls, and serving dishes reflect the shift towards a more refined aesthetic in dining. The delicate, slightly scalloped edges of the plates and the subtle raised details on the surfaces create a sense of understated elegance, making this set a charming representation of English ceramics from this period.
